All Glam, No Hangovers: Cody's Bougie Bridal Bash

Written by Summer Aldridge

Cody asked us to create the ultimate bougie bridal bash. She wanted it to be "extra" and fabulous in all the ways we love.

Over-the-top? Basically our love language.

Not wanting to lift a finger (or make her loved ones lift one either)? That’s exactly what we’re here for.

Lots of sparkle? Say less. ✨

Cody was so trusting of our vision and judgment, and when clients let us do what we know how to do, magic like this can happen!

A Bride-to-Be Moment Worthy of a Magazine Cover

We brought in Rose, our blush velvet chair, and surrounded her with a peekaboo mix of champagne sequin and soft drape, white fur rugs, neutral balloons, and layered gold décor.

It was the perfect gift-opening photo op, warm, inviting, and unapologetically feminine. The subtle shimmer from the sequins and metallics caught every bit of natural light, giving the space that dreamy bridal glow Cody deserved.

This is a great example of how to use geometric gold stands as pedestals rather than as centerpieces! Plus, how fun is that tiny bit of peekaboo sequin drape?! We're obsessed.

A Toast to Zero Proof Glam

As a sober girly myself, designing the mocktail bar was especially meaningful. Too often, people who choose not to drink are an afterthought at events like this. I cannot tell you how many times I have shown up to a celebration where the only nonalcoholic option was water.

Cody is vocal and proud of her recovery, and she wanted that part of her story to be celebrated. When she told us she had Leonard Libations coming to serve handcrafted mocktails, we knew it needed to feel as elevated and intentional as the rest of her design. We pitched turning our sleek white bar into a custom setup, complete with metallic gold vinyl lettering that read "All Glam, No Hangovers."

The result was perfection. Guests sipped and mingled while Cody glowed, proving once and for all that joy does not need to come with a cocktail.

And while we cannot confirm or deny, there may or may not be video evidence of a full karaoke and dance party that broke out on the back porch, led by the most glam and sober guest of all.

It was the perfect reflection of Cody herself: radiant, confident, and joyfully authentic.

Every Detail with Intention

The décor carried that same luxe energy from start to finish. Guests were greeted by a custom entryway mirror with gold vinyl lettering, setting the tone for the celebration ahead.

Inside, our champagne satin dining linens created a soft, elegant foundation while champagne sequin cocktail tables added the perfect amount of shimmer. Gold beaded candelabras and votive holders brought in just the right touch of sparkle, and Regina, our audio guestbook, waited nearby to capture the sweetest messages.

Accents of pearl draping and gold décor tied everything together for a look that was cohesive, intentional, and totally glam.

A Glam Finale

Even though we were only there for setup and teardown, this All Glam, No Hangovers celebration was everything we love about what we do. Knowing Cody and her crew got to walk in and start the party without lifting a finger was the best part. Hearing afterward how much she loved every detail was just the icing on the glamorous cake.

Summer has been planning events since she could talk. From her sister’s Spongebob-themed birthday at age 7 to Hopkins County’s first (and only) “End of Middle School Blowout” (every ticket came with a free hot dog, and yes, the DJ brought a fog machine), she’s always had a knack for bringing people together and making it memorable.

In college, she hosted everything from sorority formals to nonprofit fundraisers, and today her experience spans hundreds of nonprofit and corporate events, concerts, festivals, and more weddings, birthdays, reunions and showers than she can count.

If you're looking for an event planner with an eye for detail, a heart for people, and just the right amount of bossiness to keep things running like clockwork, Summer’s your girl.
