A meaningful addition to the Something Borrowed collection, this ceremonial broom was generously donated by one of our couples, Danielle and Zach Simmons-Warren, following their wedding at White Chateau.
 
Jumping the broom is a beautiful African-American wedding tradition that symbolizes sweeping away the past and stepping into a new life together. Historically, it represented unity and resilience when Black couples were denied the legal right to marry, and today it continues as a joyful celebration of love, heritage, and new beginnings.
