Allyson Sanders and Summer Aldridge became friends through a chance encounter a few years ago and have been making magic at events together regularly ever since.

 

Allyson works full time at OCTC and she and her family own The Party Space Place, LLC and Bayside at the Party Space Place - both amazing Owensboro venues. Summer is the senior director of alumni relations and career exploration at Kentucky Wesleyan College and does freelance web design and marketing. Between them, they plan over 100 events per year from start to finish including the coordinating, decorating, hosting, marketing and setup/teardown of corporate, nonprofit and social events & weddings. 
 

Something Borrowed was the brainchild of Summer and the next step in expansion for Allyson and The Party Space Place and officially opened for business in June of 2022. Our services include event coordination services, wedding planning and unique event rentals including our all-white, all digital photo booth, Pearl. Something Borrowed is fully licensed, insured and proud members of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce and Chamber Young Professionals.
